Volunteer Social Media Manager

(Supporting Our Technical Trustee)

Purpose of the Role

If you enjoy social media – Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and beyond – and want to use your skills to make a real difference locally, this role is for you. We’re looking for a volunteer who can help us build and maintain a strong, engaging online presence.

Please note – Applicants must be aged 17 or over, reside in the UK, live close to Yateley, and have an affiliation with the Hart, Rushmoor or Basingstoke and Deane boroughs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging social media sites
  • Design eye-catching posts, stories, and visuals
  • Keep our content fresh, relevant, and inspiring
  • Help us reach a wide variety of folk across the community.

Who you are

  • Confident using social media and image/video design tools
  • Creative with photos, layout, and storytelling
  • Able to give a little time each week
  • Passionate about helping a local cause grow

Time Commitment

  • Ideally 2–5 hours per week depending on need, flexible around your availability.
  • Can be completed remotely.

Our social media presence is the window into our charity. By creating and maintaining a strong, engaging online presence, you’ll help ensure Cornerstone Counselling remains visible, trusted, and connected to the community. Your work will support the charity’s sustainability and transparency, enabling us to focus our energy where it matters most, supporting individuals and families in our community.
