Volunteering With Us

Cornerstone offer placements to qualified counsellors looking to broaden their skills, as well as offering placements to counsellors in training who have, or are close to gaining their certificate of competence. Cornerstone accept trainee placements from local colleges but ask that all counsellors are based within a 25 mile radius due to the demanding commitments required. Cornerstone provide all counsellors with a full DBS check, a thorough induction programme, ample training opportunities, insurance and the use of our library.  However, it is a mandatory process for all counsellors to attend two hours of supervision fortnightly, which is also provided and funded by Cornerstone.

If you would like apply to become a volunteer counsellor then please download the Student placement questionnaire and return it alongside your C.V to beverley@cornerstone-yateley.org.uk   and if a placement opportunity becomes available then you may be invited for an interview.
